We can now advise the new location and venue for this year's Nationals:

Southwards Theatre, Otaihanga Road, Paraparaumu

Friday 29th July, Saturday 30th July & Sunday 31st July

At this stage the 2010 timetable will be used HOWEVER this is subject to change based on entries.

An offical change of location will be sent out on TIDA letterhead this evening and forwarded to all teachers for those wanting to notify their airlines.

We also welcome our new Chairperson Patricia Kildunne-Budding ADCRG and National Secretary Elizabeth Jane Ryan TCRG.

To the New Zealand Irish Dancing Community:

We wish to advise that due to the unprecedented impact the February 22 earthquake has had on Christchurch, the 2011 Nationals will not be held in Christchurch this year. 

Therefore another centre will take over the running of the 2011 Nationals.

The same decision has been made by the Christchurch Irish Society Feis Committee.

Over the next week the Auckland, Waikato and Wellington Teacher Associations will be meeting to organise a new venue for the 2011 Nationals.

Further information will be provided to all families as soon as it comes to hand and we thank you in advance for your patience, co-operation, your kind offers and messages of support for Christchurch.
