2011 TIDA NZ Championship Announcement
Due to the Rugby World Cup taking place throughout September and October the National Championships will be brought forward in 2011.
The dates are set for 28th - 31st July, 2011
The venue is the James Hay Theatre in the Christchurch Town Hall complex.
For the first time the National Feis and the Championships will be run on the same weekend.
The Heritage Irish Trust will oversee the coming together of these two special events. The trustees are made up of both TIDA and Federation members.
TIDA NZ will be hosting the Nationals as per our previous events.
The Federation of Irish Societies will be hosting all other sections normally provided.
Dancers are encouraged to enter the non dancing sections and embrace all the that Irish culture has to offer.
